I honestly believed that the term "podcast" was a patent exclusive to the realm of APPLE and iPODS!

However now I have discovered that the POD aspect of the term is actually an acronym for PORTABLE AND ON DEMAND!

This now makes much more sense to me! LOL

However I should also readily admit that where my knowledge of PODCASTING may be lacking, I can thank my Year 10 students for my experiences and knowledge with/of DIGITAL STORYTELLING. Our SC English students created their own visions in re-telling the plot of their chosen film adaptation in Term One this year.

I am also currently working on the iLe@rn Project at LaSalle and would LOVE to somehow incorporate an idea similar to that found on the WEB below ...

Here, amongst other stories you can read/view 'The 21 Steps' which is told by following the story as it unfolds across a (GOOGLE) map of the world. You actually follow the trail by clicking on the link at the bottom of each bubble. It really is an exceptional example of how we could implement eLearning (and DIGITAL STORYTELLING) into our classrooms!
